Whatever the occasion you can enjoy your next function in style at the Sydney Junction Hotel. We have two great function rooms each with various features.
The Café
A stylish modern room with a mirrored feature wall bordered with a comfortable corner lounge. This room can be set for seated dining or a cocktail style function. This room also has a full service private bar. Minimum of 30 people.

The Annex
This versatile area is situated parallel to the restaurant and is great for cocktail or seated dining functions. The glass bi-fold doors in this area open up onto the courtyard giving a slight al fresco feeling. Minimum of 40 people.

Menus
You can choose from a variety of menus, including everything from casual cocktail/platters style to a full sit down 3 course meal. You can also enjoy our great value $10 and $15 menus. If anyone in your party has particular dietary requirements, let us know and our Chef will be happy to create a suitable replacement. If you wish to bring your own cake we are happy to store it in our cool-room until you are ready. We will also light any candles you have provided before bringing to the table for you. We happily provide plates/serviettes/forks but we do not cut and serve. We don’t allow any other food or drink to be brought in (including chips/lollies for the table).
Drinks
The Sydney Junction Hotel is quite happy to run a bar tab and we are happy to alter it to suit your needs. These may include unlimited use, house only, beer, wine and soft drink only, and a cut off price as pre-determined by you.
Children
Children are more than welcome at the Sydney Junction Hotel, however any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their own parents or legal guardian, and need to leave the premises by 10pm. We have a menu specifically for younger children including chicken nuggets, fish and mini steak (a few other choices as well) all which come with a drink and ice-cream. If you have several young ones coming and would like to seat them together we are happy to make a kids table with colouring and puzzles. We also have high-chairs, just let us know so we can have them out for you.
Decorations
Function rooms can be decorated from 4pm that day. We are happy, upon prior notice, to take same day delivery of balloons/flowers and keep them aside for you to set up. We ask that no glitter or confetti be used or spread anywhere.
Entertainment & Themes
Please consult with management in regards to any entertainment or themes associated with your function. Management reserves the right to approve or reject any forms of entertainment or themes.
We are generally happy to have you bring in your CD player/ Ipod dock and play your own music, but this is subject to the music choice and volume being considered acceptable by management. We take no responsibility for any equipment being damaged/lost/stolen so please be sure to arrange for equipment to be looked after and taken home at the end of the night.
Cost
A non-refundable room hire fee of $150 is applicable to all functions. This fee must be paid a minimum of one week in advance and ensures that room will be yours alone.
Lunch time functions are from 1130am to 3pm with bar close at 2:30pm.
Dinner functions are from 530pm to 10pm with bar close at 9:30pm.
After these times, we ask that you move out to the front bar areas to continue.
Want to have an informal get together but not looking to hire a room?
The Sydney Junction Hotel has many areas for small-medium size groups to get together for a few drinks and a platter of cocktail food, try the stage in the front bar, or the courtyard. We can’t reserve these areas (as there is no cost) but they are a great option to consider for small informal gatherings. We just need a days notice for the platter (or a few hours for the Party Platter).
